The Berkley Reunion is free and open to the public and attracts 2,000-3,000 people per day. The event literally features something for everyone. There are kid's games, youth talent showcases, top local R&B acts, educational venues, health screening, community groups giving back to the community, the Berkley Historical Museum exhibit, and a variety of food and merchandise vendors. On Sunday, the event features a full morning worship service at the park hosted by First Baptist Church Berkley, followed by an afternoon of praise and gospel groups. The Berkley Reunion awards an annual scholarship in honor of two of its pioneers—George Banks and Matthew Austin—to a graduating, college bound high school senior.

The Berkley Reunion is all about neighbors pitching in to put on an event that is educational, uplifting, and fun for residents and visitors of all ages. The Berkley Reunion would not be possible without the support and participation of more than 70 families that provide financial sponsorship of the event.

Over the years, the Berkley Reunion Committee and its volunteer staff have developed a great partnership with the City of Norfolk Special Events Office, Dept. of Recreation, Parks and Open Space, Dept. of Development, VA Dept. of Public Health, Utilities Dept., Fire Marshall, Norfolk Sheriffs Office and City of Norfolk Police to ensure the Berkley Reunion is safe and fun for residents and visitors alike. The Reunion has earned the reputation of being one of the best organized and conducted events of its kind in the city.

I support the Berkley Reunion promo.
